Easy to install and attaches right to your faucet. The Pur FM-8700 uses the PUR RF-9999 water filter which filters your drinking water in three stages:
Stage 1:
This first stage traps sediment.
Stage 2:
The second stage contains an activated carbon microfilter which removes 99.99% of the Microbial Cysts Cryptosporidium and Giardia as well as reducing Lead, Asbestos, Benzene, MTBE, and TTHMs.
Stage 3:
The third stage contains natural minerals that provide a refreshing taste to your drinking water yet leaves the fluoride in the water.
